Publishing FAQs

1.) What is the difference between a digital flipbook and a PDF?

Flipbooks have many advantages over PDFs in the digital world. They adapt to any device, they allow you to edit the content without changing the link, they are easy to share or protect, and they provide analytics on user engagement. Flipbooks are HTML5 documents that Google can index well. PDFs are also indexed, but HTML5 pages have a higher ranking in the results.

2.) What is the purpose of a flipbook?

Digital flipbooks are a modern alternative to traditional PDFs and paper documents. They offer a realistic reading experience with pages that can be flipped and turned online. They also save printing costs and reduce environmental impact. Digital flipbooks can be enhanced with interactive features such as links, animations, videos, and more to engage the audience and convey the message effectively.

3.) There are platforms that will automatically convert pdf files into flipbooks. What is the benefit of using your service?

While there are various platforms that auto-convert pdf files, the "free versions" have limitations in terms of the interactive features. For example, you will need to prepare your own pdf file with the right format. You also need to pay extra fees to use the specialty features, such as video, animation, or call to action buttons. Not to mention the learning curve it takes to use these systems, which can be difficult and frustrating if you are not "techy."

My service is different. I can help you design and create your digital publication from scratch. You just need to provide me with your content, such as Word document, jpg, pdf, or website/social media material. 4.) What about publishing rights?

The client owns all rights to the publication. Once the project is transferred over, the client will receive the source file and embed code for website. Additionally, the live link will be hosted through FLIPHTML5 platform.

5.) What are your payment terms?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due up front to begin the project. The remainder is due upon the client's final approval.

Terms & Conditions

The client understands they are purchasing a digital product, and as such there are no refunds. The client will be provided with the publication's active link, source file and QR code that may be used for posting on social media platforms and/or printed materials.
